AXE Sunglasses ASP-495 is suitable for golfing and hiking.

• Visible light transmittance 12%. The numerical that light passes through the lens. The higher the number is, the more it lets the light pass.
  
• UV 400 protection provides protection against 99 to 100 percent of UVA and UVB ultraviolet radiation. UV 400 blocks all rays of light up to a wavelength of 400 nanometers.
• Polarization Rate 99.9%. Polarization cuts glare. Glare off of horizontal surfaces like snow, water, and asphalt, decreases depth perception, and reduces visual acuity which causes eye fatigue. The higher the number is, the more it cuts glare.
  
• Polarized lenses are coated with a special chemical film that helps reduce glare. Glare is caused when light from the sun is reflected off of water or a solid surface. By neutralizing glare, polarized lenses help you see objects more clearly, and also help reduce the harmful effects of UV light.
