Visible light transmittance
The numerical that light passes through the lens. The higher the number is, the more it lets the light pass.
UV 400 protection provides protection against 99 to 100 percent of UVA and UVB ultraviolet radiation. UV 400 blocks all rays of light up to a wavelength of 400 nanometers.
Polarization
Polarization cuts glare. Glare off of horizontal surfaces like snow, water, and asphalt, decreases depth perception, and reduces visual acuity which causes eye fatigue. The higher the number is, the more it cuts glare.
